In the end we decided to take the ice down and tell the people. Maleth followed from a distance in case there was trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The people we found, some were unconscious and some were days and disoriented. They had varying levels of understanding of what had taken place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We explained everything to the mayor who tried to be a good leader in the situation. He was looking for his son. Unfortunately the party found the son dead. He was about 5 years older than he should have been so we suspected the ice squid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The town was thankful to the heroes. They gave us no money. And we left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the way back to Port brax, we saw other travelers. They were large hemoids. One of them was carrying a bag. The bag appeared to be struggling. There were seven of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We attacked and killed five. The two that got away had the struggling bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the battle, something was wrong with peter. We figured out that an insect that looked like a gold coin had burrowed inside of Peter&#8217;s body. Ember and capture hand around it so it couldn&#8217;t escape and cut an opening forcing the beetle out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We did some healing and took our rests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We return to Port bracks.
